is currently seeking an experienced
Operations Manager
for a manufacturing client in Carlow.

The Operations Manager is a senior leadership position within the Irish operations. The role is responsible for overseeing a modern warehousing and modification facility, ensuring efficient, lean operations, and acting as the primary point of contact for the Country Manager/Managing Director in relation to all onsite activities.

Key Accountabilities

* Lead and manage the Modification Centre, Logistics, and Service teams.
* Develop, implement, and maintain training plans for all operational staff.
* Own and manage the full P&L for the facility.
* Oversee purchasing activities and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
* Support the Country Manager in leading the Service team, including scheduling and reporting service P&L performance.
* Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements across all operational areas.
* Manage scheduling and forecasting of projects within the Modification Centre and Service departments.
* Streamline logistics operations, assess delivery partners, and continuously monitor value and performance.
* Provide accurate forecasting for your departments to the Country Manager.
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements for the facility.
* Monitor and assess slow-moving stock, managing min/max levels to maintain a balanced and efficient stock profile.

Requirements

* Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an operational leadership role.
* Experience in purchasing and supply chain operations.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of health and safety standards and compliance.
* Proven experience in scheduling, planning, and team leadership.
* Ability to identify operational opportunities and drive process improvements.
