Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician role is a pivotal position within the Engineering team, focusing on proactive and reactive maintenance to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.
* This individual will collaborate with Site Engineering Managers, Planners, and API Maintenance Lead to execute the site maintenance program, adhering to compliance standards and optimizing plant performance.
* The successful candidate will develop and implement a Root Cause Failure Analysis Program to minimize equipment breakdowns and empower maintenance personnel to conduct real-time Root Cause Analysis.
* In partnership with the Reliability Engineer & Planning, they will establish and utilize reliability & work planning metrics/KPI's to monitor progress and optimize resource allocation, including PM/CM ratio and schedule adherence.
About the Role:
* Work collaboratively as part of the Engineering team to achieve optimal plant performance.
* Develop and lead Root Cause Failure Analysis initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and track key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute preventative and breakdown maintenance activities according to established schedules and protocols.
* Participate in the development and implementation of the site maintenance program.
* Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis to identify and address potential issues.

Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance and asset management.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* OSHA certification.
* PMMI (Production Machinery Manufacturers Association) certification.
* Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
