Role Title: Programme Manager Location: Vhi Dublin Grade: Band 3 Contract: Permanent Vhi Health & Wellbeing DAC currently has a full-time permanent postion open for a Programme Manager Programme Manager reporting to the H&W Head Strategic Development and Delivery. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the successful design, development and delivery of new clinical services. You will work closely with members of the Clinical Groups, Executive Team, Clinical Leads, Commercial Leads and with the National Leads and business managers across the organisation, including Vhi Group colleagues, to plan and implement programmes of work. You will lead programme and project teams and facilitates working groups. You will work closely with other Programme Managers to ensure overall portfolio delivery. What will you do: People, Culture and Leadership As required, represent H&W in interfaces across the Group and with external stakeholders. Be a central player in moving forward the H&W agenda. Shape and design the business programme to deliver on key strategic initiatives. Define the programme plan, resource requirements and associated budget (with support from the Finance Business Partners). Manage, track and report against programme plans, reporting progress to relevant committees / groups. Develop and manage status reports for relevant programmes. Support the Clinical and Operational Leads (Clinical Directors, National Head of Ops, Ops Managers etc) in the production of business cases, PIDs, proposals, design of service and other programme deliverables. Define benefits and track benefits realisation in line with programmatic approach. Manage risks and issues across the programme and help to mitigate or escalate to relevant decisions makers to ensure programme remains on track. Ensure effective governance and project management of projects. Transition programmatic-based planning and reporting processes into business as usual as appropriate. Build strong relationships across the organisation to enable delivery of key goals. Utilise a clear communication framework to ensure buy-in and engagement to the business plan. Espouse the H&W culture, values and behaviours. Be a champion for these across the organisation. Lead, direct and support the various programmes of work to effectively implement changes and ensure that appropriate change management principles are adhered to. Contribute as required to the overall work of the EPMO across the various programmes of work required to deliver on the Health & Wellbeing vision. Work with people across the business to enable them to effectively contribute to the plan and to deliver on its objectives. Quality & Excellence Produce superior quality, Board-ready documents, reports and presentations. Embed disciplined and experienced project planning and resource management across the H&W strategic delivery plan. Measure the effectiveness of the H&W programme delivery processes and implement necessary adjustments with a focus on continual improvement. Ensure alignment of key developmental plans (eg ICT, Quality, HR, Finance etc) with the overall integrated business plan. Innovation Identify and implement innovative approaches to achieve outcomes aligned with strategic objectives. Increase agility when adapting to other initiatives or changes within the organisation and wider group. Patient Experience Keep the experience of the patient at the centre of all strategic, operational and programme design and decisions. Driving programme to achieve digitising member experiences from a CX and UX perspective. What you need to be successful Education & Experience Minimum 8 years' programme / project management experience with at least 4 years in a programme role Project management qualification / professional accreditation Demonstrated experience producing Board / Executive-ready content Experience in a clinical healthcare setting Experience in digitising health services and driving engagement and utilisation. Experience in technology/digital related projects and dealing with system integrations.
