Ballingarry Health Centre E41RW56We are seeking an organized individual/s who are confident in dealing with patient queries both on the phone and in person in a polite, courteous, and efficient manner. Previous experience working in public facing roles would be an advantage.Please note: This role requires flexibility, including the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to provide holiday cover and adjust working days when needed.Primary duties:Reception: Greet visitors, handle calls, schedule appointments, and manage emails.Office: Perform admin tasks, manage records, handle mail, and stock supplies.Financial: Manage billing, payments, claims, and cash reconciliation.Clinical: Prepare patients, perform basic checks, assist GP with procedures, and maintainrecords.Selection CriteriaEssential● Working knowledge of Windows-based software systems (e.g. Word and Excel)● Strong computer literacy● Excellent communication skills, written and verbal● Adaptable, enthusiastic, and flexible.Desirable● Previous experience in a busy medical reception or similar administrative position● Previous experience with practice management software (Socrates)● An understanding of the GMS system● An understanding of medical terminology, medical and health professional organisations and relevant stakeholders.Salary and hours: Based on experience and negotiable (Starting 15 eur/hour).We look forward to welcoming talented and compassionate individuals who share our commitment to excellence in patient care.Please contact or call for more information.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From €15.00 per hourExpected hours: 24 – 36 per weekLocation:Central Tipperary, CO.
