Electrical Process Engineer Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Process Engineer to join our team in a Cork-based food production facility. As an Electrical Process Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safe operation of our plant.
### Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance of electrical systems on production lines, utilities and process equipment.
* Diagnose and repair PLC, automation, drives and control issues.
* Complete Predictive Maintenance tasks and keep accurate records.
* Support upgrades, installations and optimisation projects.
* Contribute to energy efficiency, reliability and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and Health & Safety standards.
* Support audits and inspections.
### Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering.
* At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environments.
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostics skills.
* Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), automation, drives and sensors.
* Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) is advantageous.
* Able to work shifts and respond to call-outs as required.
* Team-focused individual with excellent communication skills.
