Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to drive new feature delivery and platform evolution in a fast-growing, established FinTech environment. This role will involve acting as the voice of the customer inside an Agile squad.
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate product roadmap into detailed Epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Prioritise backlog (new features + technical debt) in collaboration with Commercial, Finance, Engineering and UX teams.
* Act as primary liaison between Sales, stakeholders and the Scrum team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
* Present progress, KPIs and risks to executive leadership and steering committees.
* Continuously refine requirements, manage dependencies and mitigate risks.
* Drive sprint planning, reviews and backlog grooming.
* Contribute to process improvement and innovation within the wider Product & Innovation function.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Key Qualifications:
* At least 3 years' experience as a Product Owner in FinTech / Payments.
* Deep domain knowledge of multi-channel payments processing and acquiring (Ecommerce, Point-of-Sale, Mail/Telephone Order).
* Proven experience with payments orchestration, gateway integrations or similar platforms.
* Strong Agile/Scrum practitioner (writing stories, running ceremonies, backlog management).
* Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
* Comfortable presenting complex technical & commercial updates to C-suite.
* Exceptional stakeholder management, influence without authority and communication skills.
* Self-starter who thrives under pressure in a high-growth environment.
