The role of HR Business Systems Analyst is a critical one, requiring a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills. As the primary liaison between HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT teams, you will be responsible for translating business needs into functional system solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis for Workday and related HR/payroll systems.
* Partner with HR, Payroll and WFM process owners to identify automation and improvement opportunities across the employee lifecycle.
* Collaborate with external systems integrators and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery, alignment with the business requirements and adherence to best practices within the industry.
* Manage system changes through established change management processes, ensuring quality and compliance.
* Develop and maintain detailed process maps, system documentation, and data flow diagrams.
You will also be responsible for supporting ongoing releases and enhancements, including regression testing and stakeholder communication, as well as collaborating with technical teams on integrations between Workday, ADP, WFM and other enterprise applications.
Requirements
* Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field.
* 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or HRIS Analyst, preferably in a global or complex organization.
* Proven hands-on experience with Workday HCM modules and integrations.
* Strong understanding of Payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP Payroll, Workday Payroll).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and process requirements into actionable solutions.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Workday certification in one or more modules an advantage.
* Experience with integration tools an advantage.
* Exposure to large-scale HR transformation or system implementation projects an advantage.
* Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies an advantage.
