Programme Facilitator and Art Tutor Role
The programme holder will act as both an Art Tutor and a Programmes Facilitator, delivering high-quality art programmes while facilitating broader person-centred activities for service users.
Reporting to the Community Service Manager through the Programmes Supervisor, the post holder will support service users in making choices, developing skills, and achieving personal goals within a person-centred model of service delivery.
Key responsibilities include running programmes where necessary, supporting individual and group outings, assisting with daily living skills, and providing medication support when required.
* Support service users with diverse interests, acting as a key worker and contributing to the planning and delivery of occupational, leisure, and personal development activities.
* Engage in internal and external meetings, participate in conferences / training courses, and foster relationships with service users.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Minimum QQI Level 5 in Social Care or equivalent qualification.
* A third level graduate in Health & Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
* Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and people enduring mental health issues.
* Willingness to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development opportunities.
