Executive Chef Position
We are recruiting an experienced Executive Chef to lead our busy kitchen. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in managing day-to-day operations, driving consistent standards, and contributing to menu development.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a quality hotel, restaurant, or gastro-style venue. Strong culinary ability and passion for seasonal, locally sourced produce is essential. Excellent communication and organisational skills are also required.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations
* Lead the team during service and ensure high-quality food output across all sections
* Assist in menu planning, seasonal dish development, and specials
* Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff
* Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards are strictly adhered to
* Manage stock levels, ordering, cost control, and waste reduction
* Work closely with front-of-house to maintain seamless service and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a quality hotel, restaurant, or gastro-style venue
* Strong culinary ability and passion for seasonal, locally sourced produce
* Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
* Able to perform well under pressure while maintaining high standards
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods
