Ocean Freight Co-ordinator – Aqua-Trans International Limited (Limerick, Ireland)

What you'll do:
Manage and process customer bookings with accuracy and care
Liaise daily with customers, carriers, subcontractors and overseas partners
Organise transport and route planning to ensure cargo arrives safely and on time
Negotiate rates and update tariffs
Prepare and handle Bills of Lading and other key documents
Track and monitor both LCL & FCL sea freight shipments
Problem-solve and support customers with proactive communication
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless service
What we're looking for:
Ideally 2+ years' experience in Ocean Freight or Freight Forwarding (but full training provided for the right candidate)
Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and self-manage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Knowledge of customs clearance an advantage but not essential
