Food Safety and Quality Assurance Specialist
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Food Safety & Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Clare. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that the company products meet all customer requirements and comply with the highest standards of food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee product quality, processes, food safety, and standards throughout the manufacturing process.
* Identify and implement opportunities for quality improvement.
* Complete quality-based inspections and audits, including preparing necessary documentation and coordinating responses.
* Develop, update, and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the company.
* Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
* Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure adherence to food safety protocols.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
