Job Description
This is a developmental opportunity at ADAPT Charity shop. No experience is necessary, and accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Duties
* Assist in the day-to-day running of the charity shop.
* Carry out the opening and closing check list daily.
* Perform weekly shop checks.
* Handle customer queries, requests and complaints.
* Engage in sales, merchandising and display of items.
* Select, tag, rotate, wash, and iron clothing for sale.
* Clean, polish, and maintain a safe working environment.
* Recycle unsuitable stock.
* Clean, repair, and upcycle furniture to make it more resalable (if required).
* Assist with lifting and carrying furniture (if required).
* Deal with donors and customer requests, referring matters to the shop manager.
* Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
* Participate in current fundraising activities (if required).
* Promote the ethos of ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services.
