Job Description:
The commercial analyst will oversee the analytical running of their dedicated contracts across Ireland, working closely with the wider commercial, finance, and operations teams to deliver overall profitability for the business, client reporting, preparation of financial pricing models for month-end and year-end reporting, and business tool reporting.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Oversee and follow up on all weekly and monthly profitability figures associated with your designated client accounts.
* Monitor and improve Customer KPIs/Profitability.
* Provide management information that is accurate, timely, accessible, insightful, and robust to improve commercial decision-making.
* Protect margins and track account growth through overseeing and conducting monthly commercial performance meetings.
* Responsible for the Annual Account Budgets & re-forecasts. Ensure reporting and monitoring of performance against budget.
* Coordinate activities with Accounts, Operations, Technical, Marketing, Sales, and Procurement teams.
* Develop and maintain detailed cost analysis reports to ensure accuracy in reported numbers.
* Implement best practice commercial finance practices across accounts, category management, and financial reporting.
* Prepare and review weekly and monthly financial reports.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Third Level Degree in Business, Accounting, or Commerce preferred.
* Excel modelling experience.
* Previous experience in commercial analytics.
* Strong influencing skills.
* Knowledge of Navision is an advantage.
* Proven track record of results.
* Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* High flexibility and commitment to success.
* Passionate about delivery and customer service.
* Excellent PC literacy skills.
