Leadership Opportunity in Surgical Orthopaedics
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a team on our busy surgical orthopaedic ward.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered General Nurse with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care coordination and leading a team of staff. You will play a pivotal role within the multidisciplinary team, driving the management of activity and resources within the clinical area.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing strategies to improve patient safety and quality.
* Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Maintaining accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
* Developing and implementing education programs for nursing staff.
The ideal candidate will be eligible to work in Ireland and have a preceptorship qualification and experience preferable.
Requirements:
* A strong commitment to patient safety and quality.
* At least 3 years post-graduate acute care nursing experience on a busy surgical ward.
* Orthopaedic nursing experience is desirable.
* Flexibility and ability to meet the challenges of coordinating and delivering orthopaedic surgical services.
* Management qualification or educational preparation to degree level is desirable.
* Proven leadership and change management skills.
* Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills.
