Social Care Worker Role
As a Social Care Worker, you'll play a vital role in delivering therapeutic, relationship-based care.
You'll be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality, responsive support to young people, while helping shape the culture and direction of a new and dynamic service.
Key Responsibilities
Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
Provide daily care and support for personal development
Lead keyworking sessions linked to individual Care Plans
Advocate for each young person's voice, rights, and welfare
Promote school attendance, training, and medical engagement
Plan and participate in activities, outings, and routines
Liaise with families and professionals; attend planning meetings
Support daily household tasks, budgeting, and meal planning
Maintain high standards of documentation and compliance
Follow safeguarding procedures and act as a Mandated Person
Engage in regular training, supervision, and reflective practice
Salary:
€37,500 – €41,000 (DOE)
Shifts:
Day & 24-hour shifts, incl.
weekends and bank holidays
What You Need
Level 7 qualification (or higher) in:
o
Social Care Work (CORU-approved)
o
Or a related field: Psychology, Youth & Community Work, Nursing, Teaching, etc.
o
Or CORU registration with a non-relevant qualification
CORU Registration: Registered, applied, or eligible (evidence required)
Full, clean, manual driving licence valid in Ireland
Garda Vetting and reference checks
Excellent communication, teamwork, and care planning skills
Knowledge of HIQA National Standards
Support Worker Role
Our Support Workers are key members of the care team, bringing compassion, structure, and support to the everyday lives of the young people in our services.
These roles are ideal for those building their career in social care or looking for part-time or relief flexibility.
What You Need
Level 5 (or higher) qualification in Social Care or related area
Full, clean, manual driving licence valid in Ireland
Garda Vetting and reference checks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of teamwork and child-centred care
Familiarity with HIQA National Standards
