Job Purpose:
The Accounting Technician will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing high-volume transactions, and supporting the wider finance and operations teams.
Assisting in the preparation of management accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with Irish accounting standards and Revenue requirements.
Full training and study support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable function including invoice and payment processing, maintaining accurate records & dealing with supplier queries.
Support payroll processing and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank accounts, control accounts, and supplier statements.
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Liaise with auditors, Revenue, and clients as required.
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, relevant accounting standards and company policies.
Perform general administrative and ad hoc financial duties as required.
Requirements:
Some experience desirable but not essential
Good numeracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
