Responsibilities
Assist in sourcing and procuring mechanical and electrical materials, equipment, and services.
Support preparation of enquiries, requests for quotations (RFQs), and tender documentation.
Evaluate supplier quotations and assist in commercial and technical comparisons.
Liaise with project teams (engineering, design, and site teams) to understand procurement requirements.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery in line with project schedules.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Support supplier negotiations under the guidance of senior team members.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.
Assist in identifying cost‑saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and health & safety requirements.
Qualifications
Relevant Level 7 degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or similar).
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Eagerness to learn and develop within procurement and construction.
