Job Title: Theatre Nurse
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team in the theatre department, delivering high-quality patient-centred care and services for patients and their families.
The successful candidate will have the ability to develop strong relationships with all members of the team and deliver innovative practice within the unit.
Theatre nurses provide care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, including orthopaedic, general, ophthalmology, gynaecology, ENT, pain management, urology, and vascular surgeries.
Key Responsibilities:
* To develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
* To assist in the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
* To support and guide junior staff and pre-registration students in their clinical development.
* To participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of effective communication and interpersonal relationships within the team.
Requirements:
* Be a registered nurse with experience in theatre nursing.
* Hold a current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* Have knowledge of infection control and quality management principles.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
