Irish Payroll Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Irish payroll specialist to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end Irish payroll process for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments. This includes maintaining compliance with Irish payroll tax, pension, and union agreements, as well as company policies. The individual will reconcile payroll accounts and liaise with finance on payroll journals, reports, and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage benefit deductions, bonuses, commissions, and other variable pay elements.
* Oversee year-end activities and statutory submissions.
* Partner with HR to ensure employee data is current and accurately reflected in payroll systems.
* Ensure the accuracy of employee hours recorded on the job costing platform, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
* Work with external payroll providers to manage international and shadow payrolls, learning and applying local country requirements as needed.
* Support the integration of new payroll systems or countries into our payroll framework.
* Prepare and analyse payroll reports for management, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvements.
* Act as a key contact for employee payroll queries, providing clear and timely responses.
