Key Responsibilities
Managerial role reporting directly to the Owner
Develop curriculum in line with Aistear and Siolta
Adhere to Child Protection Policy of the service and report any concerns
Supervise our long term, medium term and short-term plans
Meet frequently with team leaders to discuss curriculum, lesson plans, issues, and questions
Conduct centre tours with new parent
Train, manage and motivate staff
Facilitate regular staff meetings
Role Requirements
At least 3 years' experience in creche management (preferred but not essential)
Minimum of QQI Level 7 (8 preferable) in Early Years Education
Management qualification is an advantage
First Aid, Manual Handling certificates and Garda vetted
Experience working with Tusla including childcare regulations and guidelines
The proven ability to lead a team, self-motivate and to meet deadlines
Knowledge of Aistear Framework and Siolta Standards
Knowledge of child led/ Emergent curriculum and documentation of the curriculum
Ability to work in partnership with parents and staff
Strong communication skills with fluent in English
Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Full clean driving licence (an advantage)
