Business Development Lead for Building Materials
As a key figure in driving growth and expansion within the building materials sector, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to join our team.
About the Role
We are looking for a sales professional with strong understanding of the construction industry, proven sales experience and the ability to build lasting partnerships with trade professionals and contractors. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships and driving sales growth across our range of building materials.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to increase market share and achieve revenue targets within the Limerick region.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities with builders, contractors, developers and other trade customers.
* Manage existing customer accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction, repeat business and loyalty.
* Work closely with branch and commercial teams to coordinate pricing, stock availability and delivery schedules.
Key qualifications include:
* Proven experience in sales or business development within the building materials, construction supply or related trade sector.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
