Job Title: Construction Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with experience of working on large-scale projects. They will have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and direct teams, and have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish
* Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
* Coordinate and supervise site operations, including labor, materials, and equipment
* Manage and control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other parties involved in the project
* Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact the project
* Collaborate with other departments, including design, procurement, and commercial, to ensure smooth project delivery
* Provide guidance, support, and coaching to junior staff members
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering, business)
* Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
* Proven leadership skills, with experience of managing teams and directing projects
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other parties
* Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and patterns, and make informed decisions
* Familiarity with industry-standard software, including project management tools and building information modeling (BIM) systems
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
