BIM Coordinator Job Overview
As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering MEP building services projects using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
Key responsibilities include producing collaborative 2D and 3D models and associated drawings, coordinating with project stakeholders, and monitoring clashes to ensure seamless project execution.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent IT skills, specifically in Revit, Navisworks, Auto CAD, and MS Office, as well as experience using Revit MEP.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3+ years of experience in modelling Mechanical or Electrical systems within an engineering consultancy or contractor is essential.
* The successful candidate will have experience as a BIM Team Lead delivering large-scale projects.
* Either a Mechanical or Electrical Trade or Engineering background would be advantageous.
* Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively coordinate with the project team and stakeholders.
