Job Description:
* As Product & Partner Manager, you will take the lead in managing and developing our products and strategic partnerships, collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver top-quality products and services for our customers and partners.
* Working closely with the Partner and Programme Executive and General Manager in particular, you will manage our Microsoft strategic relationship, oversee the development and delivery of our conference Programmes, seek new and innovative ways to improve our existing products and partnerships, or indeed, develop new products or strategic partnerships.
* To succeed in the role, you'll need first-class communication skills, organizational skills, a strategic mindset, commercial acumen and creativity to explore new ideas.
* This will be underpinned by developing a strong understanding of the market and where we can best add value for our partners and customers in the world of Microsoft technologies, international conferences and professional education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead our key strategic partnership with Microsoft, developing the partnership programme and value.
* Secure event partnership agreements, negotiations and contracts.
* Oversee the delivery of the partnership programme in line with conference or partnership goals and agreements.
* Line management of the Partner & Programme Executive.
* Act as a day-to-day key contact for different Microsoft teams and stakeholders.
* Oversee the ongoing development and success of our conference programmes and products against customer feedback, value and commercial goals.
* Explore and develop ways to improve our existing products.
* Take a lead role in exploring and developing new product and partnership opportunities.
* Work closely with Events, Marketing, Sponsorship & Finance colleagues in the development and delivery of the product and partnership programme.
* Manage the conference programme budget and partner programme budgeting.
* Take a lead role in market research efforts to guide and test our product development opportunities.
* Manage our ideas backlog and innovation cycle from a product development perspective.
* Help shape and deliver our overall company strategy and multi-year plans.
This role reports to the General Manager.
Some international, primarily European,
travel required
– attending our conferences and occasionally, attending industry or partner events (~3-5 trips per year).
You will most likely be based in or close to Galway, Ireland, as this role is a hybrid work role, with an initial requirement for at least
2 in-office days per week
at our fabulous office in Galway and the option for remote work or in-office work for the remainder of the week.
