Job Overview
The HR Services Manager Grade VIII will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the organization's HR strategic plan, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement HR strategic plans to drive business success.
* Provide expert advice on Employee and Industrial Relations matters, supporting fair and consistent management of grievances, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
* Build strong relationships with staff representatives and trade unions, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Lead, motivate, and develop the HR team to deliver exceptional customer service that reflects the organization's values.
* Oversee recruitment and workforce planning activities to ensure timely and compliant staffing solutions, promoting the organization as an employer of choice.
* Ensure adherence to relevant legislative, regulatory, and policy requirements, including data protection, vetting, and employment law compliance.
* Lead HR improvement projects and support organizational change initiatives to enhance service delivery and the overall staff experience.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
* Level 8 Degree or higher in HR, Business, Management, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in HR, including experience at Business Partner or People Leadership level.
* Demonstrable experience managing complex Employee Relations and Industrial Relations cases.
* Proven experience in leading HR teams and delivering HR services at a senior level.
* Strong understanding of Irish employment law, HR governance, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
* CIPD qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience within the hospital, healthcare, or public sector.
* Experience managing pension schemes or relevant authority functions.
* Track record in change management and HR project delivery.
