Junior Site Engineer Role
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the site management team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, effectively and to the highest quality standards.
1. Assist with accurate site setting out, including levels, measurements and reference points for construction work.
2. Monitor and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications.
3. Conduct inspections and maintain quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Prepare daily site reports, maintain site records and support documentation required for handovers.
5. Promote and adhere to all health and safety guidelines on-site.
6. Assist in managing site materials, deliveries and resource allocation.
7. Provide technical advice to site operatives and address site engineering queries.
8. Support the Senior Site Engineer with project planning, technical solutions and ensuring smooth project execution.
1. Strong technical knowledge of construction techniques, materials and design principles.
2. Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Problem-solving ability to address technical issues efficiently.
4. High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
5. Ability to collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, site managers and contractors.
6. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
7. Familiarity with AutoCAD, surveying software and MS Office Suite.
