**Production Supervisor - County Cavan**
In this role, you will oversee daily operations in our production facility to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
Your responsibilities include managing the workflow, coordinating team members, and achieving production targets while maximising production uptime and maintaining product quality and staff safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management:
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, directly or via Team Leaders.
* Resource planning and assigning tasks to team members holding them accountable for achievement.
* Ensure training and guidance to employees on processes and equipment is provided.
* Conduct performance evaluations and address employee concerns or issues.
* Coach and develop potential talent.
2. Production Oversight:
* Proactively monitor production processes to ensure adherence to schedules and specifications.
* Implement and enforce quality control measures.
* Identify and troubleshoot operational issues to minimise downtime.
* Ensure production targets are met within allocated time and budget.
3. Safety and Compliance:
* Enforce workplace safety regulations and protocols.
* Conduct safety spot checks and ensure compliance with company policies.
4. Inventory and Equipment Management:
* Coordinate maintenance and repair of equipment to prevent disruptions.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
* Maintain and analyse records of production, including output, efficiency, and quality metrics.
* Prepare reports for management on production progress, challenges and action plans.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and quality assurance, design and engineering to optimise operations.
This role requires a balance of manufacturing expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
