EMEA Finance Manager - 2 days office (12 month contract)
A well known multinational is looking to hire a Finance Manager for a maternity leave contract for a minimum of 12 months.
This role requires two days onsite in Dublin and paying circa €90,000 - €100,000 DOE plus bonus and benefits.
You will report directly to the Director of Financial Accounting and play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance for established entities across the EMEA region.
You will lead a team of two direct reports while collaborating closely with other Entity Controllers and teams across the business.
This position requires strong technical accounting skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
You will be responsible for driving improved reconciliations, managing compliance requirements, supporting audits, and delivering insightful analysis to support decision-making at senior levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to your team on a day-to-day basis.
Ensure strong financial management and oversight of entity balance sheets, driving improved reconciliations and reporting processes.
Review monthly P&Ls, identify issues, and prepare detailed analysis for quarterly finance calls.
Manage financial compliance for assigned sales entities, including timely filings such as CIT & AFS returns.
Review balance sheet reconciliations and provide commentary on accounts within your area of responsibility to support month-end and quarterly reporting.
Liaise with external auditors and internal teams to meet reporting requirements (e.g., AFS filings, internal audits).
Support project-related activities as required by VP Finance or EMEA SVP Finance.
Provide supplementary information for quarterly/annual reporting cycles.
Key requirements of the EMEA Finance Manager
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years' experience at Finance Manager level or equivalent.
Strong technical financial skills; SAP experience preferred.
Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel.
Leadership experience with proven ability to develop and manage teams effectively.
