Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, who are a global manufacturer and leader in sustainable cargo handling for ports, terminals, distribution centres, and heavy industry. Impressively, one in four container movements around the globe is handled by this organisation’s equipment.
The Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing large equipment, so a background of working on Plant / Mine / Construction etc machinery is desirable and you will be backed up by a strong technical team. You should also be able to provide a good level of customer service.
Requirements:
Hold a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification with previous relevant experience working on hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics, including CANBUS systems and electrical wiring diagrams.
Able to work at heights.
Enjoys and thrives in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Full clean driving licence.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Complete all service, repair, warranty and inspection jobs to a high-quality standard.
Build strong rapport and relationships with customers, through professional behaviour and a customer-focused mind-set.
Respond to routine enquiries from customers about the technical aspects of products and services.
Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems that arise, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
