Job Title: Event Waiter

This is a key role within our events team, requiring an individual who can deliver exceptional service to our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality bar and floor service during events, maintaining excellent hygiene, safety, and customer care standards. They will work closely with supervisors and the wider team to ensure smooth operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing situations. The ideal candidate will have experience in bar service or waiting, strong communication skills, and a positive professional attitude.


Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver High-Quality Service

The event waiter will be responsible for delivering high-quality bar and floor service during events. This includes ensuring that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

* Maintain Cleanliness and Organization

The event waiter will be responsible for keeping service areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times. This includes maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, even during busy periods.

* Maintain Excellent Standards

The event waiter will be responsible for maintaining excellent hygiene, safety, and customer care standards at all times. This includes adhering to company policies and procedures, as well as any relevant health and safety regulations.

* Work Effectively with Others

The event waiter will be required to work closely with supervisors and the wider team to ensure smooth operations. This includes communicating effectively, being flexible, and adapting to changing situations.

* Support with Cash Handling and PO's

The event waiter may be required to assist with cash handling and PO's systems when needed. This includes processing transactions accurately and securely, as well as maintaining accurate records.

* Support with Event Setup and Closing

The event waiter may be required to support with event setup and closing procedures. This includes assisting with setting up and closing down the event space, as well as ensuring that all equipment and resources are returned to their designated storage areas.


Requirements:

* Experience

We are looking for someone with experience in bar service or waiting. This could include previous experience working in a similar role, or experience in a related industry such as hospitality or tourism.

* Communication Skills

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, including verbal and written communication. They will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers, and will be able to adapt their communication style to suit different situations and audiences.

* Professional Attitude

We are looking for someone with a positive, professional attitude. This includes being punctual, reliable, and well-presented at all times.

* Certifications

The ideal candidate will hold relevant certifications such as Manual Handling and HACCP/Food Safety. These certifications will help to ensure that the event waiter can perform their duties safely and effectively.

* Availability

We require someone who is available to work evenings, weekends, and event-based shifts. This includes being flexible and adaptable, and able to work outside of regular business hours.
