Our client, a well-established Irish company based in North Dublin, is seeking an experienced Finance Accountant (Contract)tojoin their growing team.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including divisional and regional profit and loss reporting.
Conduct detailed variance analysis against budget and prior year results, providing clear insights and commentary.
Maintain and reconcile the balance sheet, including general ledger controls, accruals, prepayments, and contra entries.
Manage VAT returns, Intrastat, and VIES submissions for both Ireland and the UK, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Oversee cashflow forecasting, funds management, and foreign exchange approvals.
Ideal candidate 5+ years experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as Intact IQ (or comparable platforms).
Strong commercial understanding with the ability to build effective working relationships across departments.
Self-motivated with a collaborative approach and strong attention to detail.
A qualification in accounting, finance, or business (e.g.
