We are recruiting for a Civil Engineer / Quantity Surveyor for our established Client based in Cork City
Role Purpose
Responsible for planning, supervising, and managing civil engineering projects while controlling costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare designs, drawings, and technical reports.
Supervise site works and ensure compliance with specifications.
Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents.
Manage budgets, variations, and valuations.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
10+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in Railway projects desirable but not essential
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and contract management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and cost estimation software.
Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
Salary €100k DOE
