About the opportunity
CREGG is partnering with a long-established engineering manufacturer that designs and produces precision metal components and sub-assemblies for leading brands across medical devices, high-tech, aerospace, defence and industrial sectors.
With full in-house capabilities (tool & die, micro-precision metal stamping, laser welding, machining, assembly and metrology), quality and innovation are at the core of the operation.
The role
This is a key growth hire for the Irish market.
You'll drive new business while expanding existing accounts, working closely with technical teams to deliver a best-in-class service from first contact through to production.
Key responsibilities
Develop new business with manufacturers and tier-one suppliers across Ireland.
Manage and grow existing accounts via regular meetings and account reviews.
Lead quotation/costing and prepare detailed commercial proposals.
Build strong relationships with engineering, quality and procurement contacts.
Track opportunities, maintain CRM accuracy and provide reliable forecasts.
Monitor market activity, competitor moves and sector trends.
Represent the business at customer visits and industry events (Ireland & Europe).
Liaise with internal engineering, tooling and operations to ensure smooth delivery.
What you'll bring
5+ years' success in technical/manufacturing sales—ideally precision engineering, metal stamping/forming or machining.
Confidence discussing engineering drawings, tolerances and materials.
Advantage: existing links in Irish med-tech, aerospace or high-tech supply chains.
Proven new-business development and long-term account management.
Strong commercial and negotiation skills; professional, hands-on approach.
Excellent communication, organisation and the ability to work independently.
Degree in engineering, manufacturing or business (or equivalent experience).
Full clean driver's licence; flexibility to travel nationwide and occasionally abroad.
