Special Education Needs (SEN) Tutor / Teacher Location - Stillorgan / Blackrock / Kilmacud, South Dublin Part-Time with 4-hour block sessions flexible across 7 days Are you passionate about Special Needs Education, creativity, and helping students thrive? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Tutor/Teacher to work one-to-one with a bright, verbal, and engaging 19-year-old student with Fragile X syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is a unique and fulfilling role where no two days are the same. About the Student She is curious, energetic, and loves: Art & museums Singing & performance Fitness & sports History, cartoons, and creative projects You will accompany her to activities and support her participation where needed. What Youll Do Create and deliver an interest-led curriculum (4 hours teaching daily) Design weekly learning themes with art projects and CANVA materials Support physical education: swimming, cycling, hill walking, boxing, etc. Manage occasional challenging behaviour with skill and empathy Build book and film libraries based on topics studied and Introduce new areas of learning and exploration Your Background. .. Degree in Education (B.Ed / PME / HDip) or equivalent Experience in Special Education (required) Native English speaker Passion for arts, fitness, education, and food Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Team-oriented, creative, and adaptable If you are Interested -Wed love to hear from you!
