Full Job Description
Overview: The position of Patient Liaison Officer Grade VII plays a pivotal role within Connolly Hospital. It encompasses both managerial and administrative responsibilities. The Patient Liaison Officer leads staff in providing quality service to patients and their families, with an emphasis on improving communication, obtaining patient feedback, and implementing improvement initiatives. Additionally, the Officer ensures the hospital meets legislative requirements of Section 9 of the Health Act, in line with the 'Your Service Your Say' and 'Open Disclosure' policies.

Essential Criteria
1. Experience in handling patient feedback, using data for improvement, and patient engagement strategies.
2. Experience working in an Acute General Hospital.
3. Experience at a minimum of Grade V or equivalent.
Post Specific Requirements
* Managerial and administrative capacity to perform the role effectively, including report writing skills.
Desirable Requirements
* Experience in working in a clinical healthcare role.
