Quality Assurance Professional
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Professional to join our team. This is a key role in the quality department, responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and monitor FSMS, including HACCP, prerequisite programmes, and SOPs.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and customer requirements, reporting performance and compliance status to management.
* Conduct and report internal audits, driving effective close-outs with supervisors.
* Investigate customer complaints and external non-conformances, ensuring robust root cause analysis and timely corrective actions.
* Analyse production quality KPIs, identify trends, and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues and drive improvement.
* Apply Lean principles in daily problem-solving, root cause analysis, and change management initiatives.
Requirements:
* Minimum recognised 3rd level qualification in a Food Science related discipline.
* Minimum 3 years+ quality assurance experience in food manufacturing environment.
* Experience working with quality systems.
* Demonstratable comprehensive knowledge of auditing, quality standards, and systems, quality management techniques such as HACCP, process control, knowledge of food legislation, GFSI standards.
