Financial Analyst / Business Partner Dublin Our client, a highly regarded and well-established design-led professional services business, is seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Analyst / Business Partner to join their senior team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making within a dynamic, project-based environment. Working closely with the Managing Director, senior leadership team and finance personnel, the successful candidate will provide financial insight, analysis and reporting to support the continued growth and success of the organisation. This role will suit someone who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making and driving financial performance across multiple projects. The Role: Develop and enhance clear, practical and effective financial reporting structures using existing project costing and financial systems. Prepare reporting and analysis for board meetings, monthly financial management meetings and director meetings. Analyse project performance, fee income, profitability and pipeline trends across clients, sectors, project stages and business units. Monitor financial progress of projects against budgets and project plans, identifying risks and opportunities. Work closely with project leads and senior stakeholders to improve project financial performance and support commercial decision-making. Review and advise on resource allocation and utilisation across projects. Provide insight into fee structures, profitability trends and service agreements to support strategic planning. Identify financial and operational trends within the wider industry and comparable businesses. Support the ongoing development of financial processes, reporting tools and commercial controls within the business. The Person: Degree qualified in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline and/or professionally qualified accountant. Strong experience in financial analysis, commercial finance or business partnering within a professional services, construction, consultancy or project-based environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience supporting senior management teams. Commercially aware with the ability to balance financial performance with broader business and operational objectives. Process-driven with excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Experience working with project costing systems and financial reporting tools would be an advantage.
