Apply today.The Role.GMC are currently seeking an experiencedFacilities Managerto join our team.As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance, safety, and smooth operation of four office locations across Dublin.This is a practical, on-the-ground role suited to someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to fix issues directly while also managing contractors, suppliers, and building operations.Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities:Oversee and maintain facilities across four Dublin office sites, ensuring they are safe, functional, and well-presented at all times.Carry out general maintenance and repairs (e.g. minor plumbing, painting, carpentry etc.)Manage cleaning contractors and specialist contractors required for maintenance, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective service delivery.Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and issues.Monitor and manage facilities budgets, procurement, and inventory of supplies.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.Respond quickly and effectively to facility-related emergencies or urgent requests.The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:Full Irish Drivers licence is essential.Proven experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related technical trade.Hands-on capability in basic repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.Strong knowledge of building systems (plumbing, fire safety, etc.).Excellent organisational and time management skills; ability to prioritise across multiple sites.Good communication and people skills - able to work with staff and contractors.Become a part of something bigger.At the heart of GMC is our people, from engineers through to customer service and we aim to work collaboratively towards our common goals.GMC is an equal opportunity employer, and we aim to recruit and retain like-minded people from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of expertise.
