Social Care Specialist
Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in various settings, working alongside dedicated teams within a trusted organisation. Gain experience across diverse environments ideal for newly qualified or experienced professionals.
* Provide person-centred support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
* Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and household duties.
* Promote independence and community participation in line with individual care plans.
* Administer or assist with medication in accordance with guidelines and training.
You will be required to maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, respond effectively to the needs of service users, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A kind, patient, and professional attitude with a person-centred approach.
* A full clean driver's licence (advantageous).
* Garda Vetting or willingness to undergo vetting.
