HR Generalist required by fast growing FMCG company based in South Tipperary.
This standalone role reports to the Managing Director and COO.
The overall purpose of this role is provide a comprehensive day to day support in HR for the site, including ongoing recruitment, while at the same time building a positive work environment Responsibilities will include; Employee Recruitment and On-boarding: Assisting and facilitating the end-to-end recruitment process from attraction to on-boarding.
Employee Records Management: Maintain and keep up to date all filing requirements in line with best practice.
Responsible for providing HR assistance and support across the site to Managers and employees Coaching and supporting Managers across the site on employee issues.
Dealing with and working with the Managers to manage all disciplinary issues Drive a positive employee relations culture, proactively resolving issues and mediate conflicts Dealing with day to day employee inquiries on leave etc.
Issuing contracts of employment for new employees Review of new employees and working with Managers to ensure probationary periods are managed Working with the Department Managers to manage the annual appraisal process Assist on the investigation of complaints and concerns.
Providing guidance and direction to Managers to ensure consistent, equal and fair treatment of all employees.
Other ad hoc tasks as required Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors Degree in HR or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years experience in a HR role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and attention to detail skills required, along with Fluency in both oral and written English essential Self motivated, driven and a high level of organisational skills essential Confidentiality essential to this role High level of computer literacy essential.
