Electrical Instrumentation Technician
Maintaining high-performance electrical systems is a crucial aspect of ensuring the smooth operation of industrial facilities. As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues with these systems to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
* Investigate system defects and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal performance
* Liaise with contractors to guarantee safety and quality in all aspects of electrical instrumentation work
* Perform routine testing and maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend its lifespan
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in maintaining and calibrating processing plants/equipment, preferably in the water and wastewater industry. You should possess strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering and instrumentation principles and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Required skills include:
* Hands-on experience in similar roles and responsibilities
* Educational background in electrical engineering and instrumentation, preferably with certifications from recognized institutions
* Proficiency in operating SCADA/DCS/PLCs/Hard wired control systems/industrial electrics
