Overview
Develop detailed programmes for tenders and support live project programming in collaboration with design, commercial and delivery teams to ensure realistic and achievable plans aligned with company objectives.

Responsibilities
Generate programmes for tender submissions using Primavera P6, MSP or Asta Powerproject.
Breakdown project scope into logical work sequences identifying key milestones and critical path.
Liaise with design teams, consultants and internal stakeholders to develop coordinated programmes.
Identify and communicate potential risks, constraints and opportunities.
Conduct critical path analysis and scenario modelling to support decision making.
Ensure planning outputs comply with company standards, client requirements and industry best practices.
Maintain accurate programme records in line with QA procedures.
Develop programme narratives.
Engage with subcontractors to develop programmes.
Work as part of a team.
Assist in developing 4D planning for tenders.
Monitor live project programmes.
Support site teams.
Assist with BAM UK&I roll out of good planning practices.
Qualifications
Hold a relevant Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
Proficient in Primavera, MSP or Asta.
Proven experience in a planning role in the building construction industry (main contractor experience preferred).
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and lead times.
Experience in developing tender programmes.
Ability to produce clear and concise planning narratives and reports.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and manage programme risks.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Be technically oriented and fully conversant in drawings, specs, BOQs, critical path programming, network analysis, etc.
Ideal candidate will have 2–3 years previous experience.
Eligibility to work in Ireland and fluent English.
Full driving licence.
Detail oriented with strong organisational skills.
Proactive and solution focused approach.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Collaborative mindset with a strong team ethic.
