Maintenance Technician Power
Operate and maintain mechanical equipment to ensure optimal power generation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and investigate equipment faults and failures
* Carry out routine maintenance and repairs of power generation plant and associated utilities
* Liaise with site planners to identify spare part requirements
* Review maintenance programs to ensure optimal uptime levels
Support the site engineer and HV engineer in root cause analysis and develop proposals to remedy faults. Participate in rotating shift cover or on-call roster and uphold environmental and safety compliance per EPA standards.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Past working experience in energy conversion and distribution
* Experience with fuel oil storage and distribution systems, industrial gas installations and distribution, and gas and steam turbines, diesel generators, boilers
* A National Craft Certificate or similar Level 6+ qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Industrial Maintenance, or Plant Engineering or Marine Engineering
* At least 2-4 years of experience maintaining power-generation or CHP equipment, industrial rotating machinery, or critical mechanical systems
