Role Overview
As Hire Fitter, you will be at the heart of a busy and well-established hire department, taking ownership of the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a diverse fleet of plant and tool equipment.
You will play a key role in ensuring customers receive equipment that is safe, reliable, and ready to perform on site — while building real expertise across a broad range of machinery.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of a wide range of equipment, including:
Small Plant
Cement Mixers
Concrete Power Floats
Plate Compactors
Poker Vibrators
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Also Include
Carrying out PAT testing and fleet readiness checks
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised hire workshop
Supporting customer sales and delivering expert equipment demonstrations
Upholding health & safety standards across all activities
Assisting with the day-to-day running of the hire department
What We're Looking For
Solid experience in the plant and tool hire industry
Proven mechanical/fitter capabilities across a range of plant and tools
A proactive, safety-conscious approach to your work
Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude
