Clinical Nurse Specialist Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Cork. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing expert advice to healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will assess patients independently in a nurse-delivered clinic under the supervision of the consultant cardiologist.
* Apply blood pressure monitors and Holter monitors to patients and perform ECGs.
* You may also be required to perform phlebotomy if necessary.
* Assist with ward rounds when necessary in the Bon Secours Hospital.
* Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and General Practitioners in the management of patients.
Requirements:
* You must be a Registered General Nurse (NMBI) with a Midwife Board qualification.
* A Post-Graduate qualification in a related field would be an advantage.
* You should have a minimum of three years' recent acute care experience in cardiac nursing practice, preferably in the advanced practice role of Clinical Nurse Specialist.
