We deliver language training, work experience and vocational programs to international students.Career Training Internships requires a talented Placement Coordinator. The duties will include general office and operations tasks such as dealing with clients' requirements, handling placement-related issues and recruiting host companies and families. The successful candidate will have experience in a professional office setting, with proventeamworkandcommunicationskills.The Placement Coordinator will work within a small, collaborative team and must live within commuting distance of our Cork office.Key Responsibilities:· Find placements for international interns in local businesses· Communicate and build relationships with local businesses that host our talented trainees· Evaluate CVs and other application materials to find relevant placement opportunities· Proactively identify opportunities based on knowledge of the local community· Assist in deciding best host family or other local accommodation for our visiting trainees and teachers· Maintain accurate information in the CRM system· Anticipate and react quickly to issues as they arise· Other responsibilities as needed within a collaborative small business environmentSkills & ExperienceYou must have:· years of proven experience in a role with similar responsibilities· Extensive experience communicating by phone and email in a professional setting· High degree of professionalism· Problem-solver· Adaptive, team playerWe would love for you to have:· Experience working in a small business· Experience supporting projects in relevant fields such as group travel, European projects, student exchange or work placements· A relevant qualification Business or a related field of study· Experience using CRM systems (Zoho a plus)· Experience with sales· Passion for helping young visitors come to Ireland and develop their careersWork Location:In person
