, we're partnering with a leading engineering and utilities provider to recruit
Qualified Electricians
to support ongoing inspection, maintenance, and upgrade projects across Ireland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for
skilled industrial or maintenance electricians
seeking a long-term, secure role with excellent development potential and project variety.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled inspections, maintenance, and testing of electrical panels and associated systems.
* Carry out diagnostics, fault finding, and minor repairs on control panels, MCCs, and instrumentation systems.
* Ensure all work complies with national safety regulations, risk assessments, and company procedures.
* Prepare accurate inspection and service reports for each site visit.
* Liaise with site supervisors, project managers, and local teams to coordinate work efficiently.
* Support commissioning, decommissioning, and minor upgrade works as needed.
* Maintain tools, PPE, and equipment in good working order.
Requirements
* Fully qualified
Electrician
(QQI Level 6 or equivalent) with valid
Safe Electric registration
* Minimum
3+ years' experience
in industrial, utilities, or infrastructure environments
* Strong understanding of
electrical schematics, control systems, and panel layouts
* Knowledge of
safety standards
,
risk assessment
, and
permit-to-work
procedures
* Full, clean
driving licence
and willingness to travel nationwide
* Excellent
attention to detail, communication, and reporting skills
* Ability to work
independently and as part of a team
Desirable Experience
* Experience in water or wastewater treatment environments
* Confined Space Entry
and
Manual Handling
certification
* Familiarity with
ATEX-rated
environments and equipment
* Understanding of
SCADA
and telemetry systems
* Valid
CSCS/SOLAS
card or equivalent
