Job Opportunity in Customer Service

What's the Opportunity?


This is an exciting chance for ambitious and self-motivated individuals to grow their skills and progress their careers within Bank of Ireland. Working as part of a dynamic and supportive team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with personal and business customers.


Role Details:



* You will engage with customers to deliver professional, efficient and friendly customer service (including cashier services where applicable) to business and personal customers.

* Handle customer flow to ensure smooth passage through the branch.

* Relocate customers to suitable self-service options - including online and banking delivery channels together with demonstration of self-service facilities.

* Record/update relevant customer information on internal systems.

* Handle basic queries/problems and refer complaints as necessary.

* Contribute to decision-making by bringing customer insights into play, ensuring confidence in delivering appropriate outcomes for customers.

* Understand your goals and your role in achieving the company's shared ambitions.

* Act with integrity, learning from successes and mistakes to foster an environment of continuous improvement.

* Demonstrate openness to change, embracing it as a key strategic enabler.

* You may occasionally be required to handle cash, including transporting it and ensuring its secure delivery, in accordance with established security and safety procedures.

A proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work efficiently as part of a team. Self-motivated with a passion for achieving goals, identifying sales leads and referrals. Curious about technology and eager to adopt new technologies. Willingness to learn and grow your career within the company.
