Job Title: Field Service Engineer


About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, medical electronics, and camera technology, as well as excellent IT skills and experience working in a medical field-based position.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

* Repairing and checking electronic/mechanical Stryker products
* Completing annual checks and calibrations according to MDR on customer sites
* Utilizing software and technological tools to maintain proper records and access technical information
* Assisting with product recalls, field safety notices, and field action notices
* Fulfilling service contracts with planned maintenance
* Delivering technical training to internal and external customers
* Performing installations of Stryker systems on customer sites
* Performing software and hardware upgrades
* Ensuring traceability of all field-based Stryker products through reporting tools
* Providing technical support to internal and external customers
* Escalating opportunities and issues to relevant teams
* Ensuring excellent follow-up on customer-initiated issues
* Ensuring that service provided is invoiced if not under warranty
* Scheduling customer visits in cooperation with customer service


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A Level 8 degree in engineering, medical electronics, and camera technology or relevant experience
* At least one of the following: Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications/Mechanical/Software/Medical Physics/Technology Subjects
* Adequate IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MFG/Pro, PS3, Outlook)
* Experience in a medical field-based position
* Experience in medical electronics, combined with good mechanical skills
* Experience in the hospital environment and healthcare work
* IT experience on an administrative and technical level
* A highly organized individual
* Experience and ability to build relationships with internal and external customers to drive brand loyalty
