This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and motivated doctors to advance their careers in general medicine with exposure to a wide range of subspecialties and acute medical presentations.Whether you are preparing for higher specialist training or seeking to broaden your clinical expertise, this role provides robust experience within a structured and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Patient Care: Deliver high-quality medical care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management across general medicine specialties.Ward Duties: Participate actively in daily ward rounds, case discussions, and clinical decision-making processes.Clinical Procedures: Perform a range of medical procedures (e.g., blood sampling, cannulation, lumbar punctures) under appropriate supervision.Admissions & Discharges: Support patient flow by managing admissions, treatment plans, and safe discharges.Team Collaboration: Work closely with Consultants, Registrars, Nursing staff, and Allied Health Professionals to ensure comprehensive care.On-Call Duties: Take part in the on-call rota for emergency and urgent care support.Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with hospital and regulatory standards.Requirements:IMC Registration : Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (General Division).Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Medical Registrar (experience in Ireland or UK essential).Work Eligibility : Must be legally permitted to work in Ireland.How to ApplyPlease submit your CV detailing yourmedical registrar experienceand current availability.
